 Lotus Domino
A multi-platform foundation for collaboration and e-business, driving solutions from corporate messaging to Web based transactions and everything in between.
 IBM eServer™
UltraVision Technologies has standardized on IBM eServer™ hardware. IBM eServers and Lotus Domino have been tested and tuned to work together for high performance application serving. Our current hosting platforms include multiple Pentium Xeon 2GHz+ processors and ultra fast 160Mb/sec (Ultra160) SCSI storage. Our highly-secured server facility is protected by uninterruptible power supply, redundant fire alarms/extinguishing systems and adequate cooling systems.
 99.99% Network Availability
Our network is connected to the Internet via advanced 5.8 GHz wireless microwave technology. By utilizing our super fast 10Mbps wireless network connection (over 6x the speed of a T1) to a nearby base-station we are able to by-pass the local telephone company (construction crews digging up telecom lines is the most common cause of long term network outages). The base-station provides 155Mps (OC3 fiber) peering and transit with multiple global Internet backbones. We further enhance our connectivity by using reliable Cisco routers and switches throughout our network.
 Network Security/Firewall
We protect our network using WatchGuard Firebox technology. The Firebox is equipped with a security-hardened Linux operating system and is dedicated to the specialized task of Internet security. The Firebox also provides secured, IPSec-compliant VPN tunneling options for our customers.
 Network Monitoring
All UltraVision hosted sites are protected by the award-winning GSX Server Guard and GSX Monitor products for Domino.... making your websites more dependable and reliable than ever! We monitor all server ports every 2 minutes from 3 remote locations... California (US), New York (US) and London (England). Our monitoring capability is triple redundant as we overlap the services of 3
individual companies to protect and monitor our network. Keeping your site up is our greatest concern!
 Symantec AntiVirus™
All mail services (iNotes and POP3) include automatic detection and removal of all known and unknown viruses, including fast-spreading macro viruses. This is possible with UltraVision's use of Symantec AntiVirus™/Filtering 3.0 for Domino. Symantec AntiVirus™/Filtering for Domino is today's most comprehensive solution for automatically protecting Lotus Notes®/Domino™ databases from current and future virus threats.
 Apache Tomcat
Our Tomcat service enables you to use Java Servlets and JavaServer Pages (files with the *.jsp extension) within your Domino hosting account. This is possible by redirecting all servlet and JSP requests encountered by the Domino server to Apache Tomcat 3.3a (including support for CORBA and DCO connections).
 MySQL
MySQL, the most popular Open Source SQL database, is developed and provided by MySQL AB. MySQL AB is a commercial company that builds its business providing services around the MySQL database.
 ActiveState Technologies
